This restaurant came recommended from the woman at that worked in the souvenir shop at the castle. It is right outside of the castle. There was an old distillery there at one time. It is now out of commission but the equipment remains inside. The outdoor patio is lovely and shaded with walnut trees. Unfortunately, we couldn’t eat out there. However we had a glass of wine before eating in the dining area. The black pork was good as was the shrimp omelette.
The woman was really rude (to start they had a free table for 2, and she was saying CAN'T YOU that I only have round tables!???, Really aggressive and abnoxious, I do not recommend that is for sure 😔) , we just asked if they had a free table for 2 people to have lunch

I do not recommend the seafood rice. However, they serve complete menu of the day at lunch Mon-Fri for only €8, which was pretty good (grelhada mista in our case).
